Hi, I'm Calliopi
Calliopi By Design has expanded its horizons over the years and our jewellery consists of a mixture of handmade and imported pieces for men, women and children as well as martirakia and bonbonnieres for weddings and christenings.

The name Calliopi By Design came easily to me and the business was born with a lot of enthusiasm. My name comes from my grandmother, Calliopi, who was born in the small town of Kioni on the tiny island of Ithaki in Greece.

Not in my wildest dreams did I think that this, which started off as a hobby and something to pass my time during the summer holidays of 2014, would end up becoming something I am so passionate about!

When I started off, each bracelet and necklace I made was either for a friend or for someone I knew as I had never thought about actually selling my jewellery – until I received my first order.
​
The vibrant colours and designs I use are an inspiration from the beautiful islands in the Mediterranean, together with my deep roots of Greek and Cypriot heritage.
